Disney Channel Games
If you like the TV shows, you'll love being able to play Disney channel games! Be your favorite character, fight your worst villain, or just hang out with the whole gang. Disney channel games have it all. Are you looking for action packed, mile a minute thrills? Or maybe you just want to put together some of those funky outfits you see all the time on TV? Disney channel games offer tons of choices in every category out there. Games include action, combat, flight, fashion, cards, puzzles and brain teasers, timed and un-timed challenges, music mixers, tutorials, sports, and more. Let's take a look at some of the awesome and fun things Disney channel games have to offer.
Disney Fashion Games
Here's your chance to be the make-up artist, hairstylist, and wardrobe coordinator for your favorite TV characters. From the show "That's So Raven", for 'great' make-up advice, play London's Suite Styler. Raven's Tee Stop is really cute for younger girls who like funky styles. Now you can make your very own hip t-shirt, complete with sayings and logos of your choice. Dress up Keeley, from "Phil of the Future", in the game Keeley Star of the Future. Have you ever wanted to dress up a bug? Me neither, but now you can! Play Dress to Express, and choose what Maggie (from "The Buzz on Maggie") is going to look like.
Disney Adventure/Action Games
Get ready for some high-speed action-packed games. With Disney channel games, action is never far. Now you can be Kim Possible when you play the game Stitch in Time. This is a great action-packed game, full of fun moves to maneuver and enough bad guys to keep you on your toes the whole time! In Jungle Eggventure, help Mr. Whiskers (from "Brandy and Mr. Whiskers") race the clock to collect Mama Crocs lost eggs. Rack up points along as you go, but watch out for the many obstacles that stand in your way.
Kuzco's Dash
This game is from "Emperor's New Groove" - one of my all time favorite movies! It is a fun game that allows you, as Emperor Kuzco, to turn into different animals as you race along a complicated path. The goal is to impress Malina, or beat Kronk in the race, one or the other, I forget! Team Rescue (characters from WITCH) is a great RPG type game filled with tons of action that will keep younger players on their virtual toes!
Maggie's Rainy Ride
Another of the Disney channel games that is more suitable for young kids is this cute 'action/adventure' Maggie's Rainy Ride (from "The Buzz on Maggie"). Age appropriate difficulty level, and reminiscent of the old sonic the hedgehog days of video games. For an awesome high-speed pinball game, and funky music that keeps the game jumping, play Jake's Inferno Pinball (from "American Dragon: Jake Long").
Disney Pac Man Games
Zack and Cody (from "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody") are at it again with Tipton Trouble. In this age appropriate skill level game, hang posters in pacmanesque style to promote Mom's upcoming show. Careful not to get caught! Also fun, if you like the Pac man type games, is Pizza Party Pickup. Zack and Cody are planning a party, and they need to round up supplies. Help Dave the barbarian in Dave's Castle Hunt. He must get through the castle, picking up goodies along the way, while dodging the evil Chuckles and his hideous ogres. Another Pac man chase, but this one is actually challenging even for older kids.
Disney Tetris
Eddie's Match 'Em All Basketball (from "That's So Raven") is similar to the traditional game Tetris, however Disney Channel games have given it a modern twist with the addition of sports. This game gets tricky at the end as the pieces come in faster, so watch out! Another great Tetris spawn is Elements Unite (with the cast from "WITCH"). And, true to its claim of having it all, Disney channel games include Sadie and Margaret's Mix N' Match (from "Naturally Sadie"). This is Tetris with a teeny bopper twist!
Disney Hand/Eye Coordination Games
Raven's Chill Grill Challenge is fun, especially if you like the slots. And if that's not enough Raven for you, try Raven and Chelsea's Frog Toss. It's a little difficult to aim this game, but it's fun to see how many frogs you can catch. Corey (from "That's So Raven") is trying to save up money. Help his piggybank store up cash without lending it out or spending it in Corey's Money Maze. Eddies Shot Clock is a great way to practice your virtual basketball moves.
Pim's Cafeteria Chaos
This one is from Phil of the future, it has an unusually difficult skill level for kids, so don't play this unless you're really ready for a fast-paced challenge. If you're looking for a laugh, try Faffy Zap (from Dave the barbarian). I found this game to be humorous and entertaining, but my reaction cannot compare to the joy and delight my one-year-old son got from watching and hearing this game on the screen! Sheer delight!
Puff Skate Jam
This game is from "The Proud Family" and offers fairly good difficulty level for young children, and the theme is definitely original; a dog on a skateboard! (We're not talking about fluffy the wonder dog here!) Proud Mini Putt is a fun computer version of the always-favorite miniature golf.
Lilo and Stitch
The dynamic duo, Lilo and Stitch, are trying to save the world in Lilo and Stitch Pod Squad. This is a great game of coordination and reflex tuning. Catch the falling pods, and hand them to Stitch. Simple, right? There's a catch, though, and that is you can only carry three pods at a time. This becomes more difficult as the board continues to get faster and more pods fall per minute. Careful, if too many pods hit the water that's the end of the game for you (and the end of the world for earth!)
Disney Puzzles
If you want a cute brain tickler to test your memory, play Rock Star Fashion Challenge (from "Hannah Montana"), though, in my opinion, Hanna's costume coordinator should be fired! Time Machine Rescue is a lot of fun if you're a puzzle person. Phil (from Phil of the Future) has been zapped into the future. Connect different pipes to bring him back. Phil's Electro Charge game starts simple, but gets complicated quickly, so pay attention and keep your fingers at the ready all the time!
Disney Target Practice Games
Help The Proud Family in Attack of the G-Gnomes. This offers super target practice, and has an added challenge of constantly multiplying 'targets'!
Disney Fighter/Flight Games
Phil's Skyak Adventure is a great flight game with lots of action going on all the time.
Disney Racing Games
For an excellent racing game, play Lizzie McGuire's Turbo Racer. This is even more challenging because, as you race, you have to try to collect mad points and time bonuses, but avoid pitfalls and point killers. Good luck!
Disney Card Games
Play the good guy or the villain, from Kim Possible, in Card Clash. This is a high-tech version of the old card game War. Funky graphics and sound effects are what separate it from the original version.
Sticky's Mix Master
This one from "The Proud Family", is a modern day Mahjong with an upbeat twist of music. If you like the show "American Dragon: Jake Long", play Jake's Dragon Tile Combo. This is another Mahjong game, only they've added special tiles to keep the game interesting.
Lizzie McGuire Tile Style is a fun twist on the simple game of matching. Time limitation and surprise tiles make this game a whole lot more exciting than the original.
Other Disney Games
Take the Kuzco Quiz to see if you're fit to be emperor. Play Raven's Psychic Adventure, a weird game with no real point, but it's fun to see what events your choices will bring about. Ever tried to play Hacky Sack, but just couldn't get down the moves? Let Gordy (from "Lizzie McGuire") teach you some basic moves, and funky tricks in Gordy's Hacky Sack How2, a Hacky Sack tutorial.
Lizzie McGuire Dance Party is by far one of the funniest games of all Disney channel games. This is not really a game to speak of, but you'll laugh your head off watching the dancer of your choice do some "funky" and truly original moves!
And what's with Matt's Prank-o-Gram? This is probably funnier if you have older siblings who you can picture torturing with your own prank-o-gram someday. For now, you'll have to settle with a funny prank using words that Lizzie did actually say to create your own conversation that she didn't actually say!
These are just a few of the many great choices of Disney channel games. Go online, and explore the options. They have something for all age levels, so try them out, and maybe you'll even find one that you can enjoy!
