This is a great website for kids' online games on so many levels. It's fun and educational for your kids, filled with entertaining characters, and skill-building games. The best part about this site, though, is that my friends and I had just as much fun playing some of the games as any kid would (maybe more!) Here's some of what you'll find on

Hangaroo: Join this sarcastic critter from down under in an attempt to save his neck from the hangman's noose. Guess letters to figure out these random facts ranging from political figures to rare herbs.

Fowl Words 1 and 2: Unscramble letters to get words of varying sizes. You'll love racing the clock to find as many words as you can, or challenge yourself in the un-timed version to see how many words in total you can get. The game is fun, and what's more, these chickens are a riot! (Hint: For those of you who want to play the un-timed version, but don't want to sign up, play Chictionary. Word lab: Be your own little evil genius in this interesting laboratory. Through trial and error, and a little bit of logic, decipher the word to advance through the levels of this quirky but fun game.

Whack A Difference: This is a game that tests your speed as well as your perception. Reminiscent of that old favorite Frog Bopper, players must figure out which one of the three is dissimilar to the others, but do it fast. The quicker you are, the higher your score!

Here's another great site for kids' online games. http://kids.discovery.com has tons of games that will challenge your child scholastically. Learn about dinosaurs, volcanoes, sharks, and the history of all sorts of things, as well as how your world works (like electricity and gravity). These games are the practical hands on application of all the wonderful knowledge that is taught on the Discovery Channel, and just as entertaining. Best of all, though, here you will find one of the most innovative games I've ever had the pleasure of witnessing. I have never actually played the game because as it was loading, a friend entered the room, and that was that. I couldn't talk to him for the next two hours. He was that engrossed in Whizzball! This game challenges your kids creativity and improvisational skills. You can either build your own Whizzball puzzle, or solve someone else's. Either way, you are creating and constructing, stretching your mind and imagination to its limits! Give it a whirl, I dare ya!
