Yahoo games Canada
Can you Yahoo with a Canadian accent? You can get all the practice you want with Yahoo games Canada.

I don't think I am being 'unobjectively American' here. I am writing my opinion from a purely journalistic standpoint. You may, and have every right to, disagree (at least, in America you do!). Yahoo games Canada is a far cry from the standard version of this website. The selection is sparse comparatively, and the searches produce only moderate results. There are, however, several good things I will say about Yahoo games Canada. They have a most impressive sports section (as if you'd expect anything else from Canada). Sports categories included in Yahoo games Canada are auto racing, baseball, basketball, bowling, boxing, cricket, cycling, football (the real stuff), golf, hockey, professional wrestling (the fake stuff!), rugby, soccer (ahem), and tennis. Yahoo games Canada also has a nice section for statistics of baseball, basketball, NFL, and NHL.
Yahoo games Canada has your standard card games such as Blackjack, Go Fish, Bridge, Hearts, Rummy, Canasta, Poker, Pinochle, and Spades. It also has some fun board games. Play Backgammon, Chess, Checkers, or Reversi (basically another name for Othello). If you like strategy games, try Naval Command. This is a fun game in which you have to sink the other player's ships. The trick is you don't know where his ships are. Different ships also require more or less firepower to be taken down. Definitely one of Yahoo games best picks. They also offer a game called Go. If I have all the rules straight, this is similar to Othello in that you must surround your opponents tiles to capture and remove them. There are several secondary rules, though, that I still haven't gotten the hang of yet. A bit complicated at first, but this is another fun strategy game.
They have old tile favorites like Bingo, Dominoes, and Mahjong, and some newer creations that make for good entertainment, too. Yahoo Towers is a great new version of Tetris with special tiles to add spice to the game. Line up blocks of the same color to clear your board (or your partner's board, depending on how many people are playing). Word Racer is another fun game from Yahoo. Up to eight players compete to find words within a letter grid. Once a player has used a word, no one else can play that word. Grids get larger and more complicated as the levels ascend. Play Literati for a fun, Scrabble-like challenge. Build words using letter tiles that fit on the board. Place letters on higher scoring squares to rack up points.
Or maybe you're like me, and you just want to enjoy a game on your own. There are some single player games, as well. Play Anagrams or cozy up to a nice crossword puzzle. JT's Blocks was a great find for me on Yahoo (I spent an hour playing it the first time. Can you say addictive?) Clear matching tiles from the board, but don't just go click-happy. Plan out your moves so you are not left with too many blocks at the end of the level. The more unmatched tiles remaining, the fewer points you receive. If you like maneuvering yourself out of tangled situations, play Maze. This game choice contains several intricate mazes that you must wind your way through to find some way out of. Maze offers varying difficulty levels, and even has a path verifier for fledgling maze-goers.
Tornado 21 is just what it sounds like; several rounds of Blackjack at once. This game is great because the one annoying thing about Blackjack is how short each game lasts. Tornado 21 allows you to have the fun of Blackjack several games at a time. More classics include Klondike Solitaire, Mahjong Solitaire, FreeCell, and Pyramids.
So in the end, I think you'll agree that game pros certainly out weigh the few cons that exist. The game selection is certainly of a more unique variety than most. This is great because it allows you to enjoy playing your old favorites, and even learn some new games, as well. Next time you're looking for something different, check it out, and enjoy!
